IRAN MILITARY PARADE

IRAN MILITARY PARADE

Militias of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (Basiji) parade in Tehran Saturday Sept. 22, 2007. The military parade outside the capital Tehran marked the 27th anniversary of the Iraqi invasion of Iran that sparked the bloody 1980-88 war. It comes days before Ahmadinejad is scheduled to address the U.N. General Assembly in New York and as the U.S. and its European allies continue discussions on third round of U.N. Security Council sanctions against Iran over its refusal to suspend uranium enrichment. (AP Photo / Hasan Sarbakhshian) /IRAN_MILITARY_PARADE_XHS123/0709221322 *** Local Caption *** 20639609
