Ali works for King's College London with a range of stakeholders to influence policy in the mental health field. He uses various mediums including policy briefs, reports and social media to interact with charities, government departments and research funders.

Ali holds a Bachelor's Degree in Politics and a Master's Degree in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London.

With a passion for grassroots change, Ali has fund-raised to engage in humanitarian work in rural villages in Zambia to tackle prevalent local issues. He also completed a skydive from 10,000 feet to raise vital funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK.
