Israeli Arms Dealer Goes Bollywood

My mom just drew my attention to what might be the greatest defense arms music video ever made. Earlier this year, Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defense Systems decided to celebrate the strengthening of India-Israel military ties and the virtues of its products in song and dance.

In this Israeli video, a man decked out in a black leather jacket (clearly, Israel) serenades a woman in full Bollywood gear (clearly, India) as yet more female dancers do their thing amid flower-adorned Rafael missiles. As the man sings:

I promise to defend you
Fulfill your expectations
Shield you and support you
Meet my obligations

Oh yes, strong Israeli man! Where can I sign up? Then again, he also asserts that “we’ve been together for so long, trusting friends and partners,” suggesting a really bad case of amnesia. India and Israel did not establish full diplomatic relations until 1992. Since then, however, as India has sought to diversify its arms suppliers following the end of Cold War, Israel has risen to become India’s #1 military supplier. Now, the only question is if Russia can regain the top spot by producing an even more atrocious music video? I think these girls might be of assistance.
