Foreign Policy Blogs

The Central Asia blog hosted by the Foreign Policy Association provides news updates and analysis regarding the five post-Soviet Central Asian states for the general public.

Central Asia is made up of five countries: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. Their borders were drawn under Soviet rule and the problems associated with the lines drawn by those in Moscow continue. This blog intends to be sensitive to the historical legacy that has contributed to contemporary problems.
