Loyalty and Resistance: Who benefits?

I am all for resistance.

Resistance against abusive governments, corrupt regimes, staggering bureaucracy, greedy leaders, stupidity, ignorance, poverty so on, so forth.

Hizballah comes up with good ideas. The downside is the way they put them into action and the direction of their dedication.

Sheikh Qauaq made a statement yesterday when Hizballah honored Tehran on the 30th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

“Our duty is to exchange loyalty for loyalty.”

Loyalty to whom? What do the Arab Shias have in common with the Persian Shias?  What do the Lebanese Shias share with the Persian ones? Don't say the religious concept itself!

Imagine the social energy, military force, discipline and political skills of Hizballah, all put to move Lebanon further, while empowering the Shias, and alongside them, the Christians, Sunnis, Druze, secular, atheists etc Lebanese.  It would be fantastic!

If or when Hizballah gives up completely this [organic] tie with the Khomeinist Islamic revolution of sorts, Hizballah will be better and Lebanon will be better.
