There is certainly no shortage of Israel-Palestine based lobbyists, think tanks, and non-profits in Washington D.C. The Center for American Progress’ Middle East Progress is adding to its portfolio by teaming with the Israel Policy Forum. The new partnership will leverage the expertise of IPF (established nearly two decades ago) with the resources of a major left-wing Washington think tank founded by former President Bill Clinton’s staffers. Both groups have advocated for a peace process and generally maintain support for the U.S.-Israel relationship.
Separately, Americans for Peace Now, Project Engage (an initiative of the Kairos Project), and the Foundation for Middle East Peace are holding a forum on Capitol Hill next week on Jerusalem and its role in the peace process. The basic information is:
