Egypt 1-0 Ghana

Egypt has won the Africa Cup of Nations on a header in the 85th minute. They have become the first-ever nation to win the tournament three times in a rown, having taken the cup when they hosted in 2006 and in Ghana in 2008. This was Egypt’s World Cup, since they did not qualify for South Africa and will be watching as Ghana, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, the host South Africans, and surely most vexingly, their Algerian rivals vie for the most prestigious team title in all of sport.

Here is the all-tournament team, which is, not surprisingly, heavy with Egyptians (five garnered the honor) and light with Ghanaians, with only one honoree.
