Mehrzad Boroujerdi is Associate Professor of Political Science at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs where he also serves as the Founding Director of the Middle Eastern Studies Program and Founding Co-Director of the Religion, Media and International Relations Program.

Karim Sadjadpour is an associate at the Carnegie Endowment. Iranian politics and society; Iran’s nuclear program; Iranian foreign policy; and Iran’s role in Iraq.

Ali Alfoneh is a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. His research areas include civil-military relations in Iran with a special focus on the role of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps in the Islamic Republic.

Mehdi Khalaji is a senior fellow at The Washington Institute, focusing on the politics of Iran and Shiite groups in the Middle East.
